The “Fire Watchman Training” course is suitable for employees designated as fire watchmen in workplaces such as construction sites, factories, warehouses, shipyards, and other industrial environments where fire hazards exist due to hot work, flammable materials, or high-risk operations.
Learners must be above 18 years of age and are assumed to:
Have basic knowledge of workplace safety and fire hazards
Be medically fit to perform fire watch duties
Be able to communicate effectively in the language used on site
The “In-House Fire Watchman Training” course is designed to equip participants with the knowledge and practical skills necessary to monitor, prevent, and respond to fire hazards in the workplace. The course focuses on identifying fire risks, implementing fire safety controls, monitoring hot work operations, using firefighting equipment, and responding promptly in emergency situations.
Upon completion of the course, learners will be competent in performing fire watch duties safely, conducting risk assessments, reporting unsafe conditions, implementing fire prevention measures, and assisting in fire emergency response in compliance with workplace safety requirements.
