The “Operate Reach Truck (Stand-On & Sit-On)” course is suitable for aspiring and experienced individuals who are required to operate stand-on and sit-on reach trucks as part of their work duties in warehouses, logistics centers, distribution hubs, manufacturing facilities, and other industrial workplaces.

Entry Requirement

Learners must be above 18 years of age and are assumed to:

• Have basic knowledge of the relevant sector of work

• Be medically fit to operate powered industrial trucks

Course Overview

The “Operate Reach Truck (Stand-On & Sit-On)” course is designed to equip participants with the essential knowledge and practical skills to operate reach trucks safely and efficiently in high-racking and narrow-aisle environments. Upon completion of the course, learners will be competent in selecting appropriate reach trucks, conducting pre-operational checks, performing risk assessments, identifying workplace hazards, operating stand-on and sit-on reach trucks safely, handling loads at height, and carrying out post-operation procedures in compliance with workplace safety and operational requirements.

Course Content

• Prepare to carry out reach truck operations

• Carry out stand-on and sit-on reach truck operations

• Conduct post-operation procedures for reach trucks

Course Duration

• 8 Hours, including 1 Hour 15 Minutes of assessment for new training course

• 4 Hours, including 1 Hour 15 Minutes of assessment for refresher training course

Teaching Methodology

Face-to-face classroom teaching with practical hands-on training

Course Attendance

Minimum 100% attendance is required

• Practical Performance Assessment

Certification

Upon successful completion of the course and assessment, participants will be awarded a Certificate of Achievement endorsed by SG Safe Team Pte Ltd.
