The “Operate Heavy Forklift Truck” course is suitable for aspiring and experienced individuals who are required to operate heavy forklift trucks as part of their work duties in warehouses, factories, ports, shipyards, construction sites, logistics centres, and other industrial workplaces where heavy loads are handled.
Learners must be above 18 years of age and are assumed to:
Holding a valid forklift driving license
Above 18 years of age
Safety shoes and proper attire (no singlet/ shorts/ Bermudas) are COMPULSORY for all
Course Overview
The “Operate Heavy Forklift Truck” course is designed to equip participants with the essential knowledge and practical skills to operate heavy forklift trucks safely and efficiently in industrial environments. Upon completion of the course, learners will be competent in selecting appropriate heavy forklift trucks, conducting pre-operational checks, performing risk assessments, identifying workplace hazards, handling heavy and oversized loads, operating forklifts safely under varying ground and load conditions, and carrying out post-operation procedures in compliance with workplace safety and operational requirements.
