The “Operate Powered Pallet Truck (PPT)” course is suitable for aspiring and experienced individuals who are required to operate powered pallet trucks as part of their work duties in warehouses, factories, logistics centres, and other industrial workplaces.

Entry Requirement

Learners must be above 18 years of age and are assumed to:

• Have basic knowledge of the relevant sector of work

• Be medically fit to operate powered industrial trucks

Course Overview

The “Operate Powered Pallet Truck (PPT)” course is designed to equip participants with the essential knowledge and practical skills to operate powered pallet trucks safely and efficiently. Upon completion, learners will be competent in selecting suitable powered pallet trucks, conducting pre-operational checks, performing risk assessments, identifying workplace hazards, operating PPTs safely, and carrying out post-operation procedures in compliance with workplace safety requirements.

• Carry out powered pallet truck operations

• Conduct post-operation procedures for powered pallet trucks

Course Duration

8 Hours, including 1 Hour 15 Minutes of assessment for new training course

4 Hours, including 1 Hour 15 Minutes of assessment for refresher training course

Teaching Methodology

Face-to-face classroom teaching with practical hands-on training

Course Attendance

Minimum 100% attendance is required
